Amoni is a quiet settlement where one can relax and enjoy the sea and nature away from the noise of the city. There are four unique bays and a local tavern with fresh fish and special dishes, as well as a canteen with souvlaki and other Greek delicacies. Two tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground are just a few meters from the sea at Mikro Amoni beach. Three other beaches, Megalo Amoni, Fragkolimano with a canteen by the sea, and Kalogerolimano, are just 3-10 minutes by car.
We recommend all our guests take trips to nearby places (30-90 minutes by car from the villa).
The most famous is the ancient theater of Epidaurus (43 kilometers), the best and most well-preserved example of a classical Greek theater, where a festival is held every summer. Also, the famous Corinth Canal (25 km), the archaeological sites of Ancient Mycenae (69 km) and Ancient Corinth (37 km), as well as the city of Nafplio (64 km), one of the most beautiful cities in Greece. Tolo and Argos, just 12 kilometers from Nafplio, are places worth visiting, as is Loutraki (32 km from the house), a seaside resort with a casino.
You can also take a day trip to any of the three enchanting islands of the Saronic Gulf, Spetses, Poros, and Hydra. Drive to Porto Heli (80 km), from where you can take a 20-minute boat ride to the famous island of Spetses (no cars are allowed there) and to Poros island (81 kilometers and a 10-minute ferry ride). Additionally, you can go to Ermioni (77 kilometers from the house), take a boat, and find yourself on the stunning island of Hydra in 20 minutes (no cars are allowed there).

Getting Around
You will need a car to reach Villa Sofia, as the nearest bus station is 6 kilometers away and the nearest train station is 26 kilometers away. A car will be necessary to enter the house and to get around for your daily needs, such as going to the supermarket for supplies, the tavern, or the beach.
